Laurens Keville Larson L. Keville Larson serves as Chairman of the Board for Larson & McGowin, Inc.
Born in New York City, Larson studied geography at Stanford University and earned a Master of Forestry degree from Yale University. In 2000 he was named the F. K. Weyerhauser Fellow at Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Sciences and Forester of the Year in 2003 by the Society of American Foresters. A champion of private property ownership and a frequently requested speaker throughout the industry, Larson specializes in family-related ownership issues.

Larson has been a leader within the forestry profession for nearly 50 years having served as Chairman and President of the Alabama Forestry Association (1994,1995), Chairman of the Alabama Forestry Council (1999), President of the Association of Consulting Foresters (1982), and President of the Forest Landowners Association (2001-03) – just to name a few. He is an active participant and contributor to the civic and cultural life of Mobile.
