Ernest G. Lovett serves as Vice President and is also a member of Larson & McGowin's Board of Directors. A native of Scott County, Arkansas, Lovett received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Prior to coming to Larson & McGowin in 2003, Lovett earned a distinguished reputation within the field during his thirty-year career at Georgia-Pacific Corp. His expertise includes negotiating wood supply agreements as well as extensive experience in land management operations and silviculture.
He also served as Assistant Chief of Staff of Logistics/Missiles and Munitions for the 3rd Army in the Persian Gulf Region during the Desert Storm and Desert Shield operations.
He is a Registered Forester in Arkansas (License #743) and a member of the Society of American Foresters.
